Though, the news is not yet confirmed as neither of the two has signed on the dotted lines. But reports say that this specially designed song will be picturized after monsoons, following the completion of the shooting of the film.
A source stated “Joker is a big film and to substantiate the hype it is generating, it was obvious that there were more added attractions to it. The makers always had a place for a highlight song and dance sequence in the film.”
The source said further, “While Akshay and Sonakshi, the main leads in the film, obviously feature in the song, Shirish wanted to spice it up further. This is where he thought of Salman and Katrina.”
This is for the very first time that two Bollywood superstars have been roped in for an item number.
The source added “What further makes it interesting is the fact that this couple is none other than Salman and Katrina. The world has been speculating around whether they can see eye to eye or not but the fact is that they are quite decent with each other.”
“They share a very cordial relationship and since Katrina is quite close to Salman’s family, there will never be any awkward moments between the two,” the source added.
