Hannover coach Mirko Slomka admits his side will be weakened for tomorrow's trip to St Pauli by the loss of top goalscorer Didier Ya Konan to injury, but he is convinced that Jan Schlaudraff will prove to be a worthy deputy.
Ya Konan sought help from his preferred doctor in Augsburg this week to try and resolve a niggling knee injury, but while his decision to go it alone with his treatment and not consult with Slomka angered the Hannover coach, the end result was the same.
Ya Konan, who has scored 11 goals this season, will not be fit to play tomorrow.
