Power for the Agera R is provided by a twin-turbo 5.0 litre V8 engine producing 830kW and 1200Nm of torque on E85 bio-ethanol, sending motivation to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
All of this brings the 0-100km/h pass in just 2.9 seconds. The 0-200km/h run is gone in 7.5 seconds, and top speed is listed at "more than" 390km/h.
It's not just the drivetrain helping the Swedish supercar to its high-speed runs: thanks to its aerodynamic carbon-Kevlar body and the turbine wheel design, the Agera R produces 300kg of downforce when it's moving at 250km/h.
It's hardly a stripped-out speed-oriented warrior either, with the interior offering leather upholstery, power windows, GPS navigation and an audio system that includes iPod and USB connectivity.
Pricing has yet to be revealed, but expect a European-market sticker price upwards of one million euros.
