Lenovo Launches New Range of Laptops, PCs

Lenovo has refreshed its 2011 notebook and All-in-One range with second generation 32nm Core range of processors. Its business user oriented laptops now sport Intel's mobile Huron River platform incorporating the new 2011 range of Core processors for added speed what Lenovo claims to be an optimised package that incorporates speed as well as battery life. The brand new internals are reflected across Lenovo models spanning the Z, G, T, L and M series laptops and A series of All-in-One PCs.

Targeted at the mainstream audience, the Z570 laptop features sleek brushed metal chassis, LED backlit HD display, 640 GB HDD, Accu type keyboard, and Windows 7 with Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for faster boot-up and shutdown times, better application performance, and smarter power and performance management. Lenovo G570 is an entry-level notebook that gets similar treatment. The All-in-One range includes A320, B320 and 520 models that incorporate second generation core processors and added features like One Key TV, LED backlit screens, 1GB graphics solutions, 1TB HDD, multi-touch interface, and a 3D experience. They are backed by a three year warranty.
ThinkPad L420 and ThinkPad T420 are targeted squarely at demanding business applications and hence come certified to adhere with Mil specs and extensive torture tests. Both laptops are designed to be greener thanks to low halogen parts, better power efficiency, and are composed of 100 percent recyclable components. The ThinkPad L420 features integrated Intel HD graphics, while the T420 has Nvidia graphics solution with Optimus technology to deliver an all day, all night battery life in a durable package.

Lenovo's M91 ThinkCentre range of desktops are meant for business with optional Hardware Password Manager that allows corporate to exercise complete remote and central management of keys and passwords for self-encrypting hard disk drives. This gives added security shield for companies looking to safeguard data from theft, espionage and accidental data or password loss by the employees.


The consumer notebooks will be available at all Lenovo Exclusive stores, LES Lites stores, Lenovo Multi Brand stores and large retailers like Croma and Reliance. The Z series costs Rs. 33,190 onwards, Lenovo G570 retails at Rs. 30,490, ThinkPad L420 costs Rs. 64,195 and the T420 costs Rs. 83,322. There is no word on the pricing for the M91 ThinkCentre and All-in-One A,B range yet.
