Nokia announces Touch and Type X3-02 and C3-01

A few days ago, Nokia officially announced two new entry level devices in the Indian markets. Both the phones run on Symbian and feature a new design which Nokia calls ‘Touch and Type’. To be honest, there is nothing new about the ‘Touch and Type’ design, but who cares about what it is called, it is just another Nokia phone.

They are called the C3-01 and the X3-02 but you probably had it figured already. The C3-01 runs Symbian series 40 and sports a 5 megapixel camera while the X3-02 is a 3G enabled device along which also features a 5 megapixel camera. The phones let you share your images with your friends and family via Facebook or MySpace (if you still use it) and Nokia believes that such improvement may add value to these devices.

While both devices are available, our advice is – do not purchase these phones because there are better options available in the market which have similar pricing and are powered by a green robot from Google, unless you are a true Nokia fan and for some strange reasons the Symbian UI still attracts you. Anyways, the Nokia X3-02 is priced at Rs. 8,839 and the Nokia C3-01 is priced at Rs. 9,389.
