After zeroing in Khiladi Kumar for OUATIM 2, the high-flying filmmaker Ekta Kapoor, known for her innovative concepts and storylines, is all set to make the present year bombshell Kareena Kapoor play the character of the olden days hottie Mandakini in the film.
Well, grapevine has it that Ekta Kapoor is looking forward to cast Bebo opposite Akshay Kumar in her forthcoming flick ‘Once Upon A time in Mumbaai 2'.
While Akki will be seen portraying the character of gangster Dawood Ibrahim, Ekta is mulling over making Bebo play his alleged love interest Mandakini, the ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ fame actress.
When asked about the character for which she is being considered, Kareena said, “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai was one of the best films of last year and even if it’s a Mandakini-like character, I’m sure it won’t be along the lines of the sexy under-the-waterfall song from Ram Teri Ganga Maili.”
The duo, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, was seen sharing screen space for the last time in Sabbir Khan’s ‘Kambakkht Ishq'.
The sequel of ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai', to be directed by Milan Lutharia and produced by Ekta Kapoor, is yet to go on floors.
