Refuting the speculations about casting the top female thespians in the third installment of the 'Dhoom' saga, Yash Raj revealed that YRF will be penciling in a newcomer in the film.
Ever since YRF announced 'Dhoom 3', speculations were rife that anyone of the top female actors, including Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, will be roped in as the lead.
However, all went in vain when Yash Raj dodged the media reports, and admitted, “Aditya Chopra and Director Vijay Krishna Acharya are keen to cast a totally new face to play the female lead role in the movie. And the hunt is on."
Everyone is eagerly awaiting for the lucky lass to feature beside the Mr. Perfectionist of the tinsel town, Aamir Khan.
Not to forget, YRF has of late launched many newcomers, like Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma, in the B-town who have succeeded in creating a foot hold in the tinsel villa.
About 'Dhoom 3'
While the hunt for the female lead is still on, 'Dhoom 3' will feature Aamir Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in their usual roles.
To be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the music of the action genre will be composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
Besides promising to be big, the first version of 'Dhoom', starring Esha Deol and John Abraham, was a blockbuster film of 2004, which managed to garner more than 70 crore.
The second installment, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, again became a super-duper hit of 2006, by raking in more than 146 crore.
'Dhoom 3' is all set to go on floors by December 2011, and is slated for a Christmas release in 2012.
