India v Sri Lanka: Cricket 2011 World Cup final Game

Ajit Agarkar
"The wicket at the Wankhede stadium has a bit of extra bounce, which normally Indian wickets don't give you, but I'd still want to bat first because having to chase any kind of total in a final puts you under pressure. I'm sure whichever team wins the toss will bat first, unless there is a dew factor involved.
It's one of the grounds you enjoy if you're a good batsman because of the bounce you get on the wicket, plus the ball doesn't really spin as much. It's a fast-scoring ground – it's not the biggest in India and the outfield is lightning fast, so once you get in you can score quickly. But because it's such a high-pressure game, anything over 260 will be tough to chase. It might be a better wicket than that – 280 or 290 might be the par – but anything over 260 will be good to defend."
Ajit Agarkar will be providing analysis for Sky Sports' live coverage of the ICC Cricket World Cup Final

Finally getting the chance to officiate a World Cup final after Australia fell short for the first time in four tournaments. Taufel umpired the semi-final between India and Pakistan superbly and was named umpire of the year every year from 2004 to 2008
