Since their stunning win over the Dallas Stars last month, the Anaheim Ducks have continued making progress toward returning to the playoffs. The Stars, meanwhile, have watched their hopes fade during their longest road trip of the season.
Anaheim will try to clinch their spot in the postseason Sunday night by sending Dallas to a damaging seventh consecutive defeat.
The Ducks trailed their Pacific Division rivals in the final seconds on March 23 until Teemu Selanne scored on a scramble with 5.4 to go. Cam Fowler followed with another score to give his team a 4-3 overtime win.
