Teaming up with American Idol producer Simon Fuller, the new reality show has already been compared to American Idol and the newly popular The Voice.
Lopez revealed that Q’Viva! The Chosen is more about the “ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance.”
Speaking on the Today show, Lopez shares "We're going to go through Latin American to put together a Latin music show. It won't be, like, an auditioning-type show. It's not that type of thing.”
The Idol judge also comments on if she would ever audition for a reality show, “When you're auditioning, you have good days and bad days. I think if I would have had a good day, I could have made it through. And if I would have had a bad day, they would have just sent me home.”
