Deccan Chargers vs Kolkata Knight Riders Live Streaming IPL - Deccan Chargers vs Kolkata Knight Riders, 42nd IPL Match of IPL 2011 to be played on May 3, 2011, at Rajiv Gandhi Int. Stadium, Hyderabad. Highflying Kolkata Knight Riders will aim to continue their winning streak as they cross swords with Deccan Chargers at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium on Tuesday. Two full points from this game will help Kolkata regain the top spot as they are currently second with 10 points from eight matches. Kolkata might be high on confidence with back-to-back wins to their credit but playing at home will give Deccan an added advantage in the match that has a lot to offer. On the other side, what had plagued Hyderabad, otherwise a well balanced side on paper, that it hasn’t put all three facets of its game together in a single outing.

The new look Kolkata have come good this season and are currently strong contenders for the title. Their high-profile batting led by skipper Gautam Gambhir, includes all-rounder Jacques Kallis, Yusuf Pathan, Eoin Morgan and Manoj Tiwray, who are currently in good touch.

With 254 runs, Gambhir is the highest run getter for Kolkata in the tournament. Dutchman Ryan ten Doeschate looked pretty impressive in the only match he played in the tournament and the inclusion of Mark Boucher (for injured Brad Haddin) gives Kolkata enough stability in the lower middle-order. The bowling too, looks pretty formidable with Brett Lee and India discard Lakshmipathy Balaji spearheading the pace attack. Teenager Jaidev Unadkat, slow bowlers Iqbal Abdulla and Shakib Al Hasan have provided with an able support.

Deccan, on the other hand, will be desperate to get a win under their belt and put their title campaign back on track. Deccan, the winner of the 2009 IPL edition, are currently placed in the lower half of the points table with six points from eight games. However, four other IPL teams also have six points and Deccan have another six matches at hand to rise in the table. But it is easier said than done as the Kumar Sangakkara-led side got into Tuesday’s game after a 19-run loss against defending champions Chennai Super Kings on Sunday. The inconsistent batting has been the major area of concern for Deccan and for them to win the match against Kolkata; the batting has to come good. In the match against Chennai, Sunny Sohal showed what he is capable of but was let down by others. The bowling, however, looks pretty decent and Deccan will be looking up to Dale Steyn and Ishant Sharma to provide them the early breakthrough. The spin attack will be spearheaded by Amit Mishra and Pragyan Ojha.
