Have you ever received a call from your telephone provider notifying you that your bill is due, but you don't recall making all those calls? Ever get your credit card bill in the mall and notice charges that you didn't make? If that has happened to you, there is the chance that someone has stolen you identity. Identity theft can happen to anyone and the people that steal your life basically are cunning and smart criminals and it takes someone just as equally gifted to apprehend them.
ITV Studios procedural police drama Identity explores the high-stakes world of identity theft. Starring Keeley Hawes (Upstairs, Downstairs) and Aidan Gillen (The Wire) as DSI Martha Lawson and DI John Bloom, the duo are apart of a police task force whose sole purpose is to track people are living their lives as someone else. DI John Bloom may know all too well as the subject as he has lived a double life as an undercover agent. Also on the team are DS Anthony Wareing (Shaun Parkes, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries), who doesn't seem to think that DI Bloom is exactly who he says he is, and DC José Rodriguez (Casualty) and IT expert Tessa Stein (Holly Aird, Walking the Dead).
The 2-disc DVD set contains six episode first and only season and bonus features that include text interviews with the cast and cast filmographies.
