No doubt that day one belongs to Pakistan only. Saeed Ajmal gets plenty of applause from his colleagues. He had plenty of support from Rehman and Hafeez. West Indies would have been happy with the first session, but the next two were pretty poor as their batsmen struggled to pick Ajmal’s doosras. Despite as many as five chances being frittered by Pakistan, West Indies end the day on a poor 209 for 9. It is a tough pitch though, with plenty of turn and some variable bounce.
