LG unveils Optimus X2 in India for 30,000

New Delhi: LG has unveiled Optimus X2, its new Android handset for the Indian market at 30,000. The new phone is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 2 and is going to be available in the market around third week of this month.

Optimus X2 runs on Android 2.2, which can be upgraded to Android 2.3, also called Gingerbread. The new handset has got a 4-inch screen and an 8 megapixel camera. It comes with 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage expandable to 32GB. It also has option for HDMI connectivity.

The company has also rolled out Optimus Black, a slim cellphone that features a bright 4-inch screen. The cellphone features 700 nits of brightness. Optimus Black is expected to be available in India after May 15 at a price of Rs 27,000.
