World Of Goo Hitting iPhones Soon

World of Goo developer 2D Boy announced this weekend that they've sent the puzzle game off to the App Store for approval. They expect the game to be released for iPhone "soonish."

The iPhone Goo will cost $2.99 in the States. However, if you pick it up in the first twenty-four hours, you can get it for a mere $.99. Players who purchased Goo on the iPad will get the iPhone version for free.

"One last detail to note about the iPhone version: it will require an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 to play," said 2D Boy. "The iPhone 3G was simply not fast enough to run the game as smoothly as we would have liked it to."

If you're looking to play the game on an iPod Touch, you'll need a 3rd generation or newer device.
