New 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' Trailer

Thursday, April 28, 2011

Today has been a great day for trailers. We've seen new trailers for Harry Potter, The Immortals, X-Men: First Class and now Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Finally, we get to see more of the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons in this new trailer. While it didn't give me the chills like the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 did, it put a huge smile on my face with all the non-stop action. From what I can gather, the United States government knows a lot more about the Transformers than they initially let on. When they landed on the moon, the government discovered them up there and kept in a secret. Now that the Deceptions have waged an all-out war on Earth, it times for Optimus and Sam to team up once again to save the world.

Also, interesting about the trailer, we get out first glimpse of new leading lady Rosie Hungtinton-Whiteley in the trailer. While she looks great (she is a model after all) she doesn't even utter one word in the trailer, she's just being saved by Sam. Let's hope she has some sort of dialogue in the movie.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon hits theaters on July 1.
