Kendra Wilkinson on 'DWTS' Elimination: 'I Did the Best I Could'

Wednesday, May 4, 2011

Kendra Wilkinson has danced her last dance. The former Playboy model was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night after scoring a 31 for her tango on Monday, but she told Access Hollywood she was proud to go out on a strong performance.

"I did the best I could, so it's not like it's a negative," she said. "If I would have ended with my viennese waltz it would have been negative, but the fact that we ended the way we ended, I'm so happy."

Kendra had improved as she'd grown more comfortable with the format of DWTS over the last few weeks. She famously chafed at judge Carrie Ann Inaba's criticism of her viennese waltz in the fourth week when she accused her of being "afraid of elegance." Kendra admitted to Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday night that she was more comfortable wearing less clothing.

"Less is more on me, and these last couple of weeks I went out there and I felt like me, I felt free," she said of her skimpier outfits. "I felt like the first couple weeks I felt like I was kind of clothed a little too much."

Five contestants are left in the dancing competition with Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward carrying the highest average score, followed closely by Disney star Chelsea Kane. Check out Kendra's exit interview with Jimmy Kimmel below.
